The GJSSS offers a mailing list with the aim to promote mutual support between German and Japanese researchers, especially in the field of qualitative and quantitative research.
The mailing list can be used for the following (non-exhaustive) purposes:
- mutual support in important research steps, such as research design, translation of the survey, sample recruitment;
- information on ongoing projects;
- facilitating opportunities for co-authorships and joint projects;
- promotion of interdisciplinary research on the basis of the various research areas represented in the GJSSS.

Researchers who work on social science issues in Germany and/or Japan and are not members of the GJSSS are also invited to subscribe to the mailing list.
How does the mailing list work?
All those who have subscribed to the mailing list can be contacted simultaneously by e-mail via our mailing list. In this way, the members can easily reach colleagues in Germany and Japan.
